For the geezer. You can go back to a short board. Gets you into the big fast ones with a carving shape that you can ride more like the short board of your youth than the log you bought when u turned 40. This board is a blast. Should have bought one 10 years ago.

Great board for a big older guy that still wants to get into challenging waves. I'm 64 250lbs and have had Desert islands for over 10 years. Paddles well and can handle 2' to 10'. More maneuverable than you would think and very fast down the line. This is not a micro lite board for a 20 year old guy that's 5''8" 140lbs. They have plenty of options. This board is for older big guys like Rusty himself.

Excellent board, have 2: 8 ft Tuflite and 7'6 Epoxy... just great, paddle good, big waves, small waves, carving, gliding.
