At first glance you might not notice just how different the XL is compared to the normal Flyby. This design is slightly wider, thicker and flatter than the Flyby with a thicker, fuller nose and tail. All of these changes are subtle and add up to a board that really performs in smaller surf. Try it in waist to head high surf and find out how much maneuverability you have. This board will serve you well as your normal short board or to switch it up, we recommend trying this design 2”-4” shorter and 1/4”-1/2” wider than your normal short board.
