Ridin a 5'9" as my go-to board for now on the Central Coast,CA. Catches waves easy and is quite responsive. Duck diving is no problem for me, and I'm 67 yrs old.

I use it as a groveler in New England: thigh high to overhead. Very fast paddle and down the line. As mentioned by others, a little hard to duck dive, but this depends on which size U pick. I am intermediate 5'8", 155lbs. For my weight, the 6'0" was very fast, but tougher to turn due to the volume. The 5'10" has been mint for me.

It is a good board. Remember to buy really lower than your current board to better use. She has a lot of volume and full rim, which over time will make you miss a board that allows curves steeper. I'm 165lb and wear a Dwart 5'4 and I think it's too much. Perfect for really small waves.

Everyday small wave smasher.General rule of thumb -catch more waves ....go faster=improves your small wave skills and time in the water.Pivots great into the pocket of wave. Downside-yeah don't get it too floaty for duck diving....it can be tricky in the tube making fine adjustments with the rail....got to ride it more on the tail in these instances like Supers -Jbay

great bord i am 5'9 155 and ride the 5'6 its perfect. and great at doing airs and turning and fast down the line. the 5'6 is the same volume as the 6'2 redline sooooo not hard to duck dive if you get the right size for you:)

Wondering what size board I would benefit from with this one. I see all of the posts and comments, but you are all so small and skinny. 5'9" and 155lbs? dang. where's your muscles? I'm 5'9", 195.

My current board 6' 9" and feels slow when paddling and catching waves. I am looking for something that floats good for my size, but is faster and more maneuverable.
