I would like a little less volume, driving bottom turns,able to take late take offs.

I'm a beginner hoping to call myself intermediate. Purchased to improve my maneuverability in the lineup, shorten the time to pick and chase a wave, and learn how to turn compared to my 10'6 starter log. My 9'2" 22.5 has helped with all of that. It's easy to paddle, stand, turn and cut a line down the wave, even stable enough to walk (in my case shuffle) the length of the board.

I'm a front foot surfer.Have not surfed consistently for over 1 year. Out of shape.
