paid $800 for this board last summer - had fun & caught more waves than since high school. Then bought my kids a $50 8 foot softtop (wavestorm) and can catch waves better & ride better /turn better etc on it than on my expensive longboard ... frustrating

While my current board is great for paddling and was easy to learn on, it doesn't have the turning ability or speed that I need to aggressively pull off maneuvers.

I have a 9' Ultimate epoxy I bought in July '12. As a board, awesome! Stable and great for learning. However, not quite a year in, it is developing numerous small blisters all over the board, about the size of water droplets. Since I have ALWAYS stored it in a bag and never left it out in the sun, this indicates to me a production flaw. To have this glaring problem on a board not even a year old is unacceptable. I currently have the board with Luke and Holly and awaiting their determination. Time to put their customer service to the test. Stay tuned!

I'm Back... Awesome company! Awesome customer service! I purchased a 9' Ultimate from them. After to close to a year surfing on it, tiny little bubble started forming on it that indicated a possible production flaw. This had never been seen before by them or any of the "old-timers" I surf with. Holly and Luke really worked with me to make sure I continued to be a satisfied customer. THANK YOU for standing behind your products!

This board is awesome except for being difficult to carve a rail into the wave, without a lot of weight towards the wave it just pops out.

Doesn't paddle OR float very well. Way too thin.

I bought a 9 6 expoxy model about 4 months ago. Steer clear of this company. They use clever marketing to sell these boards, but the truth is that the boards are terrible! My board is falling apart. I bought the epoxy model so that it would last. Now every time I take it out it develops a new crack. There is even a large crack developing down the rail. I can't keep up with all of the repairs necessary to keep that piece of crap afloat! I only surf 2-4 foot swells at a beginners beach. There is a sand bottom with no rocks. I just cruise when I surf. No aggresive moves or heavy waves. This board can't even handle that. Degree33 is good at removing negative reviews from the internet. Don't be fooled by this scam. These are the worst boards on the market.

Great beginner board. I passed all my buddies in wave catching and skill level with this board and didn't spend $1000.

This board is awesome. I have had the Original Ultimate and also the UV2 and this board is great...especially at such an awesome price. Funny how chad says he paid $800 when the board is listed at $495.

I ride the Ultimate V2, love it. Was amazed at low price (paid under $500) for a very high quality board. My surf crowd is jealous of rides I catch b/c of the rocker set up. Highly recommend! If you have the spare cash upgrading fins works.

Not thick enough to paddle and catch waves early enough (not in critical steep drop situations) After 2 shoulder surgeries I need a stable VERY buoyant, fast & easy paddle. I tend to pearl & have since the early 60's

Like the shape but it cracked in half after the 3rd time riding it in 1'to 2'.... company would not replace it.

I have the Ultimate Version 2, its a great board and is super durable. Fins that come with it are junk though, put in a cutaway and gl sidebites which made a huge difference. Highly recommend

9'6" is one size too small for me. I am 195lbs

She's built like a Sherman tank for sure. Just a bit too heavy and unresponsive for my personal liking. Slow acceleration & deliberate / slow turning but a very stable and boyant cruiser straight down the line.
