Channel Islands M13

Manufacturer Description
The M13 by Channel Island is a performance hybrid that caters to the widest possible type and size of surfer and the widest range of wave conditions. Not to be confused with a funshape type board. Paddles like a funshape, but surfs like a shortboard. Available in either a squash or round pin, most common sizes are from 6'10” to 8'0". WHO SHOULD RIDE THIS BOARD You are looking for a hybrid surfboard with shortboard performance. This is not a shrunk-down longboard.

LOVE the M13. I have a 7'2 would like a 6'8 or 6'10. I'm 47 but used to compete and I'm in good shape.

Good all around fun shape, recommend as a transition board for anybody looking to go down to a short board.

Got it for looser turns than my fun shape. Double Helix is flawed design, but we put a strip of glass on each rail, that seemed to fix the problem.

I like it, but want a shorter board to do more on the waves.

The thing needs speed to make turns. It's totally a power surfer's board

Great 7'6" for bigger waves but still good for smaller waves. Not for people who don't like to use their legs to dig into turns. Ones it gets going it turns great fast and stable

Honestly, I'm really interested in a fish. I've got a 7' CI M13 and a 8' Grain wooden surfboard I shaped with the Brian at his shop in Ammaganset, Long Island. Am looking for a stylish ride, with more speed, and don't need it for huge waves.

A spectacular board in small to overhead, but looses control at high speed (double overhead).

Can't catch softer waves.
