Manufacturer Description
Dave Post is the main team rider responsible for the final evolution of the design that became the Magic Carpet; although the origins of the design go back to about 1995 in a board we called th "mini-thick", or the "mini". It's the board that you ride a little shorter and wider than your standard. We wanted a board that would glide effortlessly down the line in mushy and hollow sections alike, and be plenty loose, and positive off the tail to be able to do a big turn with all the generated speed. So Rashe worked out a rocker that's flattish between the feet, and medium in the entry and tail. The outline matches the rocker, making a well balanced, highly tuned shortboard that works great for surfers in Californian waves. Marco'll talk you into one.

Hard to catch smaller waves on so I tend to have to get steeper waves which isn't fun
