The VBottom by Gordon & Smith was designed by Skip Frye at G&S back in the late 60's. Most VBottoms at that time had the Vee coming off the tail. Skip put the Vee forward for increased control in trim. We've brought it back, and improved design for modern use while keeping the spirit of Skip's original design intact.

This was my first 'short board' back in '69 and it was way too much board for me. Very sensitive with its thin egg rails and deep vee, and suited to cleaner waves than my local beach break. Very wide too and hard to paddle!
